Policies and Procedures
Nondiscrimination : Aroma Blossom Natural Health and Wellness and Jacqueline Laplante do not tolerate discrimination on the basis of age, appearance, attire, creed, disability, education, gender, handicap, intelligence, neighbourhood, personal preferences, political preferences, primary language, profession, race, religion, residence, second language, social status, speech, or weight.
All appointments are conducted in English.
Financial Policy : All first time clients will receive their first appointment at a discounted rate of $40 off the regular price of $165 for Raindrop Technique, 20% off $125 for Vita Flex Technique and $75 for Emotional Release and Spiritual Counselling and will be expected to pay the regular price per service for all subsequent appointments. At this time we are not accepting insurance claims, please check with your provider to see if your plan covers natural therapies as listed above.
I accept credit cards/debit Visa and MC and e-transfer as forms of payment. Cheques will not be accepted. Declined credit cards - client will be notified to provide an updated credit card or must e-transfer balance owing within 14 days.
Confidentiality : I will keep all client information strictly confidential with the exception of the clients’ written permission to release this information or as required by law.
Clients Responsibility : Missed appointments - notice must be given 24 hours prior to their appointment if a client is unable to make their scheduled appointment. A fee of $25 will be charged should the client fail to advise the appointment needs to be rescheduled 24 hours prior to the appointment and/or does not show for an appointment.
Extenuating circumstances can be discussed on an individual basis.
Late arrival for appointment - should a client arrive a few minutes late they will not receive a penalty. Max time accepted for tardiness is 15 minutes. Clients running later than 15 mins must advise they are running late and availability can be discussed at that time. This may result in the appointment being rescheduled depending on availability.
My job is to empower my clients to make their own decisions regarding their health and wellness. I offer Raindrop Technique, Vita Flex Technique and Emotional Release Coaching. What happens here, stays here. All information discussed is strictly confidential.
Reporting Abuse : If I suspect a client is being emotionally, mentally, physically or psychologically abused I am required by law to report the abuse to the proper authorities. These same policies require me to report any client I suspect of abusing others.
Illegal Activities : My confidentiality agreement is null and void if a client reports to me, they have or are engaging in illegal activities I have a legal obligation to encourage that client to go to the authorities and report the crime. If they refuse, I have a legal obligation to report them to the proper authorities.
If a client tells me they have information about illegal activity, I am obliged to tell them they need to go to the authorities with the this knowledge. I have no choice but to report this information to the authorities and name them as the source of that information.
Special Policies : All Essential Oils used in the techniques I provide will be exclusively from Young Living Essential Oils. This is based on the purity and therapeutic grade of essential oils produced by Young Living. C.A.R.E (Center of Aromatherapy Research and Education) advises to use Young Living Essential Oils exclusively since the potential benefits of Raindrop Technique and Vita Flex Technique depend on the quality of the essential oils applied, C.A.R.E requires only Young Living essential oils when practising or teaching in the name of C.A.R.E. I am a CRTS under the Natural Therapies Certification Board (NTCB) and I will abide by this. It is against C.A.R.E policy to promote, mention, or use any other brand of essential oils. Most essential oils sold in the world are perfume or food grade and not suitable for therapeutic purposes.
It is suggested all clients should refrain from alcohol, tobacco and recreational drugs prior to the appointment and for at least 24 hours after. Research shows drinking plenty of water following a raindrop Technique or Vita Flex Technique appointment can be beneficial. It is recommended to drink at least 16 oz of water following an appointment.
Should a client ask for further treatment not provided by myself I can recommend such practitioners as : an acupuncturist, a massage therapist, a sex therapist and/or a physiotherapist.These referrals may provide some compensation to myself. All referrals are licensed professionals.
Procedures :
Raindrop Technique :
The technique works by applying essential oils in a special sequence on the soles of the feet, and then dropping them (like raindrops) six inches above the spine. This method helps the essential oils to effectively enter the client’s energy field and provide a specific healing energy for that individual.
Vita Flex Technique:
Vita-Flex is a safe, non-invasive, pressure-point reflexive technique. It uses rolling and releasing motions to activate reflex points on the feet, hands, and various areas throughout the entire body. It is particularly effective in delivering the benefits of essential oils throughout the body.
Client Records - I will collect information such as : Name, Address, Email, Website, Contact Phone number and Emergency Contact Number and I will note anything the client has mentioned to me regarding their health and wellness concerns. A client is welcome to request a copy of their file at any time.
Should the client pass away, all files will be shredded.
Should I pass away prematurely, all files will be shredded by the Executor of my Estate. Once I dissolve my business - all files will be shredded.
Client records will be held for 6 months after their last appointment. After 6 months all information will be shredded.

I am certified and licensed as a Raindrop Technique Specialist, able to promote healing and feelings of peace using Young Living Essential Oils.
